Be clear about what you want
If you can, provide as many information as possible. But not too overwhelming.
If you want people to do a good job for you, be sure you do a good job explaining what you want to them.
Assumptions can only go as far.
For example, at Designlabb, during the first interaction with our client, we will make sure to get the big picture of what they really want and really get them to explain what they want.
Some may be:
"Raise my next funding round"
"Increase my website conversions"
"Make my brand more recognisable"
Once you understand the big picture, everything becomes easier.
It's okay if they don't know what they want in detail – that's why they engage you and rely on your expertise to lead them through the project.
Understanding the big picture is the most important, worry about the details later.
